Mary King, Certification Coordinator
My most important role is as a mother to my three children, 13, 11 and 7. I have spent over twenty years as a law enforcement officer, specializing in search and rescue and backcountry ski patrol operations, primarily as a Ranger for the National Park Service (Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic and Mount Rainier National Park), but also for the Sheriff of Benton County, whom I also now work for as needed, and with whom I served full time for seven years.  My interest in Biodynamic farming began in my early twenties, when I worked on a Biodynamic farm, and I have enjoyed staying connected to this community through the years.  I joined Demeter in 2014, and am also a little Biodynamic farm in our backyard, where we raise goats, bunnies, chickens, cranberries and a couple of dogs.
